It seems that for some, obsessing over ritvikism, and endlessly-droning-on-with-the-psychotic-moronic-rambling complaints about ISKCON leadership, has gotten to be old-hat over at the Sampradaya Sun. “ISKCON leaders are walking pieces of crap” — and they are on a mission to expose that truth. But, how long can you say the same stupid shite over and over aaannnd over — without ending up looking like a bunch of retards? Well, fear not brave readers! The lunatic fringe surrounding ISKCON has come up with a new pet peeve to get all excited and obsessed over: rooting out Teh Dirty Jews© from ISKCON! Lulz!!! These guys look more insane by the day.
What’s especially hilarious is that they give more or less the same reasons Hitler gave for rooting out Teh Dirty Jews©:
After WWI Germany was forced to undergo severe economic punishments by the leaders of the winning countries like England, France, and America. Unfortunately for them the great depression came right on the heels of WWI making Germany an economic disaster zone. Common people were dying from hunger while the wealthy were making ostentatious displays of their wealth. Not only that but Germany was a major center of progressive modern culture and the arts. Many of the wealthy and the artists and writers and performers were Jewish. This is because Germany had a very large Jewish population and Jewish families valued higher education as a means to escape prejudice, bigotry and racism. Jews were more likely to send their children – sons and daughters – to universities than the average Christian German family. This meant that there were many Jews with high paying jobs in the public and private sector, e.g. doctors, lawyers, business, banking, government, etc. Many Jews were also professionally trained in the arts.
There was another side of German society as well. A rigid conservative Catholic side which saw Jews as heathen Christ killers, and who also loathed the progression of modern culture away from the values of the Church and old world cultural ways (Victorian in style and thought). Not only had they lost the Great War but they were being treated very badly by the victors and their economy was in the dumps. But Teh Dirty Jews© were affluent and progressive? It would be easy to make them the scapegoats for Germany’s ills.
Hitler blamed the Jews for everything wrong in the economy and the progression of decadent modern culture and the arts away from the ideals of the past — much like today’s fundamentalist Christians blame hippies and others for the changes to modern culture and art starting from the 1960s.
Beginning in the 1970s right-wing politicians in America took advantage of that sentiment. They focused on stoking fears and resentments into a powerful voting bloc, which eventually propelled them into power solely due to social and cultural issues.
Hitler took already existing Jewish conspiracy theories which had been started by Catholic priests in the 18th century, and which had been spread by the Church for a long time (a Catholic priest invented the claim that “The Illuminati” is a Jewish conspiracy to control the world; Protocols of Zion were spread by the Church; the Church was intimately involved with empowering and supporting Hitler), and added a racial angle based upon the popular social Darwinism of the time in order to make antisemitism seem scientific — pitting white skinned Nordic “Aryans” against the “lower parasitic races,” and especially agaisnt the Jews, who “were destroying the more evolved Nordic Aryans by interbreeding.”
In order to gain power and fix the economy (by militarizing it) he needed an enemy to rally the people to his support as the hero who will save them. Reading this quote from an article on the Sampradaya Sun is like a window into Nazi propaganda methodology:

This quote explains our leadership’s mindset very clearly. How this mindset relates to the Jewish connection with Modernity, Academia, Secular Education, Professionalism, Secularism, Pluralism, Liberalism, Humanism, Impersonalism, Interfaith, Lobbyism, Capitalism, Commercialism, etc is public record. The above quote displays the mindset behind the senior leadership which have steered our movement into the above ‘isms’ and have left the interpretation that Srila Prabhupada had when he gave us Vaisnavism far, far behind.
The retards are blaming Teh Dirty Jews© for everything — from keeping the rains from falling on their dirt farms by their black magick ritual of drinking the scrotal blood of young Krishtian boys on All Hallows Eve, to the “secularization and liberalization of ISKCON” — leading to such horrors as: a university education, not being a fanatic arsehole, egalitarianism, no gay bashing, etc.
What’s funny is how this all started. A devotee named Kshamabuddhi wrote a few articles that were posted on the Sampradaya Sun wherein he claimed that Jesus H. Christ was a mythological person, i.e. that he never existed. There are a bunch of websites and books which are dedicated to that theory. It’s been around for over 100 years as an alternative historical narrative on the development of Christianity. It’s nothing new, but every few years some devotee discovers the theory and decides they need to educate the devotee community about the foolishness of Christianity — due to it’s being based upon a myth.
Well, that got a handful of devotee Jesusfag’s panties in a twist, they denounced Kshamabuddhi as a heretic on the Sampradaya Sun, claiming that because Prabhupada supported Jesus and Christianity, that if you don’t — you are a demon of some type. Kshamabuddhi then, in an unexpected ploy, showed them that Prabhupada was ignorant about Christianity — and therefore his opinion was totally teh ghey.
Prabhupada, as usual, had contradicted himself when it came to his opinions on Christianity (depending on his audience). Some times he would praise Christianity and the New Testament Bible, other times denigrate both.
This debacle led to one person complaining that Kshamabuddhi was most likely one of Teh Dirty Jews© because he wasn’t attacking Judaism, since isn’t Judaism just as much a myth or more than Jesus? Another person complained that why was it alright to attack Christians in ISKCON culture, but not Teh Dirty Jews©?
Well, that got the ball rollin quickly. Within no time the pure blooded Prabhupadafags were in an online war with Teh Dirty Jews© Prabhupadafags on the Sampradaya Sun. The pure blooded Prabhupadafags sound like Hitler trying to win over the Germans in the 1920’s. They claimed all of ISKCON’S “problems”, i.e. not licking Prabhupada’s balls long enough every day while flagellating your own, and not being stupid enough cult fanatics — were due to – tun tun tun TUN! – a conspiracy by the Teh Dirty Jews©!!!
That’s when things got even funnier. The Sampradaya Sun was flooded with material by pure blooded Prabhupadafags who had evidently been patiently waiting for years in their backwoods compounds to have a forum to expose Teh Dirty Jews©. It got to the point that Rocana had to come out and ask for patience in getting your stuff published because he had to wade through all the correspondence flooding into the Sampradaya Sun on this very serious and important topic!??! Lulz!
He’s now asked people to help set up Teh Dirty Jews© hot-line and database for ISKCON members — past and present. He wants everyone to become spies for the 4th Reich and aid in identifying and rooting out the nests of Teh Dirty Jews© wherever they are found to be infesting! Why?
Because if there are many Teh Dirty Jews© in leadership positions in ISKCON, then that would explain everything! It must be the Illuminati who’ve ruined everything from the pure golden age of Prabhupada’s divine leadership over ISKCON! Their hidden plan all along has been to consolidate power so that they can attain their real goal — to suck the blood of our babies scrotums to offer to their demon-god Moloch; who will then transmogrify them into deathless vampiric hellhounds released from their human shells so they can rule the world eternally!!!

Are Caitanya Das and Infallible Prabhupada one and the same? The Infallible Prabhupada blog has been deleted, and suddenly Caitanya Das’ writing skills have improved. I don’t know…just my theory.

Yeah, it occurred to me after I posted that that it was Swami Iconoclast, but I was still wondering if they were the same person. I enjoyed Swami’s blog, so I hoped it wasn’t true. I just think in some posts Caitanya Das is very clear and level headed, whereas in others he seems manic…out of control.
I’m sure Swami Iconoclast would immediately drown himself in the confluence of the three sacred rivers if he ever knew that someone suspected him and Caitanya dasa as being one and the same!

Though I was a bit thrown by your, um, gritty language, Vrajabhumi (I actually had to look up “Jesusfags” – the definition being “an annoying Christian fanatic with no trace of rational thought” – and thus infer the meaning of “Prabhupadafags” to be ACBS’ irrational fundamentalist followers from there), you are absolutely right about this latest episode of weirdness from the folks at the Sampradaya Sun and the whole issue going on there regarding “Jewish Background Devotees.” What idiocy. But it’s just one more of innumerable reasons, isn’t it, why we should be glad that we’re not involved with that whole scene any longer?

First of all, I just want to say that I wouldn’t even be looking at the Sampradaya Sun if it wasn’t for this post. The Sampradaya Sun is a total rag – though, strangely, respectable, stalwart devotees such as Laksmi Nrsimha, Visnugada and others, who probably wouldn’t have condescended to acknowledge its existence a short while ago, are now writing all kinds of articles over there, condemning Dhira Govinda and the CPO. (For my 2 cents on that one, though, I’d say it’s thumbs up for Dhira Govinda and the CPO and thumbs down for their friend Vakresvara Pandita, having “consensual sex” with a 13-year-old. Hello?!? For another 2 cents, these prabhus also supported the infamous child abuser Dhanurdhara. Thus a troubling pattern appears to be emerging which is likely to tarnish their own sterling reputations if they’re not careful.)
But back to the “Jewish” issue on the SS. With the most recent article, “Religious Integration of ISKCON by Academia” ( http://www.harekrsna.com/sun/editorials/07-09/editorials4756.htm ), it’s only getting worse. The scariest thing is that the author does not realize that the correct conclusion to his carefully articulated argument is actually 180 degrees opposite the conclusion he has arrived at. In fact, the broader, saner perspective (which includes pluralism, egalitarianism, liberalism, etc.) offered by people like Hridayananda, Tamala, Braja Bihari, Krishna Ksetra and others is actually ISKCON’s only hope. That people like “Gopinatha dasa” and others are unable to recognize this is inconceivable. But the fact that they wrap their insane fundamentalism in anti-semitism on top of it, is completely mind-boggling.
The bright side of all this is that the Sampradaya Sun folks demonstrate beyond the shadow of a doubt what it means to be a fundamentalist follower of ACBS. With this madness spread all over the Internet, hopefully new potential “recruits” will think twice before joining such a bizarre and dysfuntional organization and before accepting ACBS (with his misogynistic, racist, homophobic and anti-semitic views) as the “Founder Acarya” and the “Jagat Guru.”

Don’t go and get all safe and secure now: truth is, more than ever there is ample opportunity for spreading these ideas in the world. Have you forgotten Dylan And Klebold? And the host of such incidents around the world? Where does it come from? The issue of race, evolution, right of the fittest, etc. has never been so current. There are indeed a great number of people who have mixed beliefs/opinions on this matter, its not all black and white (pun unintended). The new atheist movement for example has very very many links to the ideas which generated ethnical cleansings throughout history. So to think that the world outside of the Hare Krishnas is saner and will be a natural stopper to the debate over the Sampradaya Sun is kind of naive, in my opinion. The world over is a “bizarre and dysfunctional” entity. Why always “them and us”? We ourselves, individually, are a mix of the bizarre and the functional. Its called the “human condition”, and that, in my opinion, is what needs to be addressed if we are to ever get ahead of the madness.
In my previous comment I mentioned “Dylan and Klebold” but it should read Dylan and Harris, the two teens who unleashed the kill-as-a-statement franchise. Theirs was an westernised version of sacrificing oneself for the Greatest Good. Sacrificing one’s own life justifies and gives legitimacy to the elimination of other, less relevant lives – intrinsically there wasn’t a greater difference between what moved D&H and self imolating islamic extremists. The idea that, if we are willing to make the ultimate sacrifice, then we have the right to decide who lives and who dies, such idea is not new, and certainly not an Iskcon or its fringes’ invention. Of course there are no actual killings going on in the world on account of such philosophy, with the well publicized exceptions of school shootings in the west and bombings by islamic extremists in the middle east, but the truth is, as individuals, we do not take sides on a 100% basis in these matters. Instead we do have many questions regarding all the many and complex elements involved; and these questions we ask mostly of ourselves, our consciouness, and the many blank spaces between our own relative experience and the relative experiences of those around us.
Get over it.
Within 25 years every single disciple of Prabhupada will be dead and ISKCON will be too. His grand-disciples are certainly not that much into his books, they all read more of other people’s books than his and are leaving ISKCON by droves anyway, and the few that stay on are not fired up at all about carrying forth his legacy.

Wow. The Sun seems to be trying to set the stage for a pogrom. Anyone who can’t see how offensive it is just needs to do a search and replace, substituting “African American” for “Jewish.” The only thing missing is a little banner row of swastikas across the top.
White Girl, this isn’t the first time here that I’ve read that sentiment. Not all Prabhupada disciples or ex-disciples are fanatics. I’m sure I’ll die before too long (I’m 50 now but with heart disease) but it’s kind of creepy to read comments that sound hopeful that we’ll all drop dead sooner rather than later. It’s pretty optimistic of you to imagine that all fanaticism will evaporate when the last one of us dies out. Every religion has its fanatics and they all possess a similar psychology, needing structure and certainty in their lives. Once I needed that and fortunately, outgrew it.
I’m sure ISKCON will continue its decline and maybe out of its ashes someone will start a sane and progressive movement. To that person or those people: please think ahead to the old age of your followers and don’t encourage them to drop out of high school (like I was encouraged*) or college. They’ll need a good education and will be better able to contribute to creating a solid organization, preferably not one that’s communal.

Can u pls explain in what way is evolution connected to ethnical cleansing?
Since I am coming from part of the world that was ethnicly cleansed several times , I am not sure I can agree with u on that.
